/50 (slash cinquante) is a Paris-based collective formed with the intent to reconsider how fine arts, writing, & design are exhibited. As the media landscape continues to change, we’re looking to explore new ways of presenting unique, inspired work.

Our bottom line is quality. We’re looking for art that demonstrates a passion for craft within any creative form. /50 is dedicated to work which offers something more than what trends suggest. We want to be challenged, inspired, surprised, and confronted.

We’re looking to deliver art within a medium that is a work of art in itself. We will take advantage of what print and digital forms both have to offer. /50 aims to do more with less, to not fall victim to faux- luxury and pretension, and to make something exciting and genuine.

But we’ll need your help.

Only fifty editions of our first issue will be made. This is how our name came about - each edition will be one of fifty total. Each will be unique from the rest, as they will be produced largely by hand. Further “issues” will various experimental forms, but you’ll have to wait and see. At the very least, we’ll assert that we don’t aspire to be a typical art publication. Just plan on seeing something different, and something great.

Over the coming weeks, we are going get in touch with all of our artsy friends and hope that they get in touch with theirs, too. We plan to scour the web, to make some stuff of our own, and to look in some unexpected places for some hidden gems.
